Japanese Anemone are one of my favorite flowers because they bloom so late in the summer. Their flowers hang on well into fall, providing a little burst of pink as leaves around them are dropping. Notice how their flower petals allowed enough light to come through them to create extra dimension and depth in these cyanotypes.

Available as a fine art print, printed with archival inks on archival warm white, 100% cotton, slightly textured, smooth paper. Each limited edition print is numbered and hand signed. Sold unframed.

(Video shows "Thrive" being developed in water bath. Sometimes I add a splash of hydrogen peroxide to accelerate the process of oxidation that creates the dark blue color. The darkness naturally occurs as the image dries and hardens over approximately 24 hours - the hydrogen peroxide is optional but gives immediate gratification.)
