Trying to capture the beauty of something as amazing as a peony isn't easy ...but it sure is enjoyable! One of the biggest challenges of working with those abundant blossoms, is that the density of petals won't let light through so large areas are left completely white. In this cyanotype, I resolved this issue by doing a multiple exposure, toning with green tea and then painting some subtle petals back in with black tea.
